Seductive Cow Elk
We Put "em" Right On Top Of You The Seductive Cow which is a bite down reed type call which took 5 6X6 Bulls in 5 days last year in Idaho Taken with Elk Guide Ken Baroni. I enclosed Ken's Letter below for you to read. We tested this call with different designs and what we came up with will amaze you. The Hardwood Barrel is the key to a great sounding call. Dear Jerry and company, My compliments and a sincere "Thank You !!". I should qualify this testimony by first stating that, I only contacted Jerry Wilson pretty much on the "eve" of our hunting seasons here in Idaho this year, 2001. I requested item # 1004 "The Executioner", Buck Grunt call and item # 1046 "Elk Cow Call". Jerry's stock was extremely low or non existent, he really didn't let on. Knowing that I am a guide, he fashioned one each, sent them and they arrived in time for me to practice for a few hours. Immediate success followed !!! We tipped over four Bull Elk in as many days!!! The # 1046 Elk Cow Call is with ,no exaggeration, the sweetest sounding "cow sound" elk call; the most realistic sounding cow call that I have used effectively and I have been hunting elk for quite a few seasons. I have used every and all calls commercially available. "YOU BET !".... That's not the end: Later in the season, during the second estrus period for elk, I called in another "6x6" bull elk with the #1046 and we took him home with us. Folks, that was five, yes, 5 six point Bull Elk with one elk cow call. Absolutely, no troubles ! "The #1046 Elk Cow Call !"........... As for the #1004 "The Executioner Buck Grunt" call, we really only had one opportunity. We had a two day hunt for a whitetail deer and for ten minutes at our second location, using only the #1004 "Executioner" pulled in and anchored a 176 inch 10 point whitetail buck. ..." I'm convinced !!!"..... I'm only looking forward to Spring Wild Turkey seasons to try more "Wilson Game Calls". I hope Jerry has a couple of recommendations for me.
