Paul Rueda I've been bowhunting for 18 yrs and shooting for 29yrs. I started out as
a kid growning up in Kearny Nj. I started making my own bows from the hedges and using
50lb fishing line for my string and trying to find the straightest sticks to make arrows.
I drove my parents crazy with my obsession. I had archery in school and was the top in the
school for shooting, when I was old enough to purchase a bow that was the happiest day in
my life. That poor bow had no rest I would shoot daily and I still do. I was looking for
guidance so I went to my local bow shop which was in the next town over called Belleville
Nj. I soon was mentored by a great guy Lenny Cardonelli. Who would become a bowhunter hall
of famer. We would tell me stories about his meetings with Fred Bear and other people in
the archery buisness. The thing I loved was the stories of the hunts and his love to get
people into the sport. I have aquired the same love or passion for bowhunting and
shooting. I love showing newbies the ropes and especially kids. All of my kids shoot and 2
hunt with me. I am a father of 3 and spend my time with them whether it is coaching
baseball, 3d shoots, bowhunting, Fishing or just hanging out. I love sharing my passion
with them. We film our hunts for a local T.V. show and also promote our sponsors products.
My hunting partner and I belong to a archery club where we host 3d shoots and we have
started a kids league. I personally donated 3 kids bows and a local bow shop has donated
arrows for the kids. I am the chairman for Monroe county youth field day in Pa. We teach
the kids that there is more to life than video games. My goal is to spread the word and
get people interested in the sport and if I can get them interested in some great products
along the way we all win. |
